Important News about GVHC Dues and Donations

Important Notice: GVHC is streamlining our dues collection process.
Effective 1 Jul 2024 we suspended dues collection. Effective 26 Oct 2024 we suspended accepting donations.
Effective 1 Jan 2025 we collect dues via Meetup.com.

If you prefer to not use the Meetup dues payment, make out a check to "Genesee Valley Hiking Club" for $10.00.
DO NOT HAND CHECKS/MONEY OVER TO HIKE LEADERS!!!
Please be patient. The post office box is checked monthly.
Allow time to manually process the check.
Once the check is processed, the meetup credit card messages must also be manually updated.
IMPORTANT: On the check in the memo field, you must put your MEETUP NAME and email address.
REASON: We have received checks from people whose meetup name did NOT match their name.
Thus we could not credit their dues in the meetup payment system.
If you do not belong to MEETUP, we must MANUALLY track your status.
In either case, we need the email address to contact you.
