GVHC is switching to Meetup to collect dues and send real-time email announcements for hiking event updates.
Additionally we will send out the 2-month schedules, newsletters this way in 2025.

Important Reminder! IF YOU HAVE NOT TURNED ON REAL TIME EMAIL UPDATES:
Inclement weather can suddenly come upon us and it's good practice to check the Comments Section in MeetUp.com of any hike that you're signed up for - - PRIOR to leaving home for the hike. Hike Leaders use the Comments Section to communicate: confirmation that the hike is still "on"; trail conditions; equipment suggestions; parking lot conditions; and other relevant information about the hike.
Please keep your replies up to date and limited to what you are able to attend. If you are unable to attend an event and don't change your hike response, it costs other hikers the opportunity to be on the hike. Signing up for multiple hikes held at the same time produces the same result.
You can remove yourself from being listed as GOING by clicking on EDIT RSVP and change it to NOT GOING.
